Out-Of-Box Conference, as the name itself suggests, show-cases out-of-box ideas in innovation, internet, science & technology, creativity and entrepreneurship. With innovation at the heart of SRIT’s growth, it befitted SRIT to attend the OOB Conference for exposition of their coveted contextual search algorithm, LMaiTM. The annually held OOB conference was organized for the first time in India, Bangalore with over 30 key speakers from varied domains, participating in the event. Year after year, OOB conference brings together pioneers in technology & science, experience creativity process and inspires individuals to become achievers.
The 2-day OOB conference was organized at the J N Tata Auditorium, Bangalore on 14th and 15th of September, 2007. With
‘1% inspiration & 1% perspiration’ as the theme, the conference brought together achievers and thought leaders from varied domains, branches of learning and lines of work. Mr. Syed Yasin, R&D lead – SRIT, demonstrated the functioning of his brainchild, LMaiTM at the forum.
SRIT was one of the first participants to receive an early invitation for show-casing LMaiTM. The other participants and attendees of the event were CEOs, Vice Presidents, Project Managers, Chief Architects and entrepreneurs from organizations like MindTree Consulting, Microsoft, Siemens, LogicaCMG, Yahoo, MSN, Narayana Hrudyalaya, DC Design, etc.
Mr. Yasin elucidated the current and future trends of Contextual Search Algorithms through LMaiTM & its perceived applicability. The significant message is from two perspectives; firstly, to explore possibilities and potential of Artificial Intelligence and secondly, to clarify concerns regarding the validity of such search algorithms.
A proactive session for queries on Human Computer Interaction and AI acted as a prelude to the algorithm’s commercialization, monetization and demonstration in the US for validation and future road mapping. The entire proceedings of this speech were recorded and the same can be viewed through the webcast soon. We shall keep you posted on this..!!
