Recent Acquisitions
SRIT in July 2007 acquired Objective Systems Integrators, Inc. (OSI) - a global supplier of Telecom Operations Support Systems (OSS) - from Agilent Technologies, a Fortune 500 American corporation. With the acquisition of OSI, SRIT has ventured deep into the OSS space, and thus gaining critical expertise in the telecom vertical. OSI’s NETeEXPERTTM family of modular software products lets users integrate and manage their networks, and performs tasks as network traffic reporting, crew dispatch and billing data collection.
Earlier in March 2006, SRIT had acquired Munich-based Billing Components AG, a 12-year-old German Telecom Business Support Systems (BSS) company, strengthening its offering in the Telecoms BSS domain. This multi-million euro acquisition expands SRIT's offerings in providing several business software solutions to all kinds of Telecommunication and Communication Service Providers, be it Telematics, GSM, CDMA, Fixed Wireline, IP, VoIP, WiMAX, 3G, GPRS or UMTS service providers.

SRIT acquired, May 2007, InfotrackTM and ZipdriveTM from Tranquil Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Infotrack is an 'end-to-end', fully integrated, open architecture, industry standard, Dealer/Distributor Management Solution, which assimilates all dealership information enabling access across departments. Zipdrive is a comprehensive software package that completely integrates all functions within Leasing and Rental Management companies including pre-sales, operations, finance, rentals, personnel & payrolls and budget. |
SRIT acquired, July 2007, SimpleRMTM assets from the US – based TriVium Systems Inc., including its intellectual property rights, software engineers & CRM specialists, customers, and relationships. The key factor that fueled this decision is SRIT’s aim to align its focused verticals with an integrated, value-enhancing CRM system. The company’s businesses in HealthCare, Telecom and other Enterprise Automation use CRM as an integral part and hence, it is a logical step for SRIT to own the IPs, customers and staff members of TriVium's CRM Business Unit.

SRIT forms a Joint Venture Company in Australia
Bangalore October 9th 2007 : Sobha Renaissance Information Technology (SRIT) today announced its Joint Venture (JV) with Capital Technic Group (CTG), an Australian Management Consulting & Services firm. The joint-venture capitalized at Australian $ 2.5 million aims to produce $ 7.5 million in annual revenues (year 2) ramping up to $ 65 million (year 5).The joint-venture, Sobha CTG Solutions Australia Pty Ltd., will launch SRIT’s products and services in the Australasian markets, while SRIT will enhance the growth of CTG’s consulting services in the realm of ICT. Structured as a 50:50 JV, Sobha CTG Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. aims to enter the Australasian ICT markets in the areas of healthcare, telecom and enterprise.
SRIT forms a Joint Venture HealthCare ICT Company in China
Bangalore/Kunming September 17th 2007: Sobha Renaissance Information Technology (SRIT), a Bangalore based global software products and solutions provider, today announced the setting up of a joint venture (JV) company in China called Sunpa Sobha Software Ltd. Headquartered in Kunming, Sunpa Sobha Software Ltd. will have operating branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
